REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES
Candidates must be reliable, work well with multiple team members, possess good communication skills, and have a solid work ethic.
Entry Level Helper/Apprentice
Entry Level Electrical candidates must have good mechanical skills and the ability to use various types of hand tools and equipment and a strong desire for a career in the electrical trade and be willing to complete the required electrical apprenticeship training coursework and training.
Candidates should possess a good work ethic, be reliable, have good math skills, and the ability to work safely and productively in all types of work environments.
Journeyperson Electrical candidates must be motivated and dedicated to work in a demanding commercial and/or industrial electric or mechanical (plumbing, piping and HVAC systems) construction or industrial electrical or mechanical maintenance environment.
Journeyperson positions require a minimum of 5 years verifiable trade experience in commercial electrical or mechanical construction experience, and/or, 5 years of verifiable industrial electrical or mechanical construction & maintenance experience.
Electrical Journeyperson candidates must have strong ability to read blueprints & schematics, lay out, measure, cut, thread, bend & install conduits, set-up & pull wire/cable, install fixtures, terminate power, & wire controls, per print.
Candidates must be proficient in the National Electrical Code, able to produce quality work; must have safe work habits and a clean driving record.
Aerial Lift, OSHA training, and skill or experience with programmable logic controls (PLC’s), switchgears, rigid conduit, and explosion-proof conduit installations and methods are also a plus.
