OBJECTIVE: The primary goal of this position is to maintain all equipment in the Cells and boxing. This will include setting up the machines and ensuring they operate correctly.
-Set up machines every day prior to production start time.
-Be knowledgeable of how to set up, maintain, clean and disassemble each machine.
-Ensure the machines are functioning at full capacity.
-Make necessary adjustments to achieve maximum yields.
-Contact supervisor concerning parts that are needed for machines.
-Must be willing to cross train with other machine specialists in the deboning department.
-Provide own tools unless approved by supervisor.
-Interact well with all level of team members working on the machines.
-Must be able to life a minimum of 40 pounds.
-Promote the Cooper Culture through trainings and personal demonstration.
-Maintain an active interest in performance level, attendance, and attitude.
-Follow all safety practices and protocols.
-Perform all duties as apparent or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or GED is required. Strong math, communication, and mechanical skills are a must.
SKILLS REQUIRED: This position requires mechanical ability, technical knowledge of production machines and some mathematical skills. Position may also require some lifting.
