FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Celina, Ohio – National Library Week – April 13 – 19, 2014

The Mercer County District Library in Celina will be celebrating National Library Week April 13 – 19. Libraries and librarians have a powerful and positive impact on the lives of Americans on a daily basis. Libraries meet the needs of the public by helping them with the things they are passionate about.

The Mercer County District Library in Celina will be giving away two Kindle Fire HDs during National Library Week. You can enter to win one Kindle online and one Kindle in the library. The theme for these giveaways is “What do you Geek?” where we ask our patrons what they are passionate about.

Online, patrons may enter up to four times using Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and via our online survey. To enter online please visit www.MercerLibrary.org/NLW before April 20th. In the library you simply fill out an entry form and answer the question “What do you Geek?” All entries will be displayed in the library.

National Library Week will be a “Fine-Free” week at the library, where all items currently overdue (including DVDs and Wii Games) can be returned with no charge. In addition, for every five items you check out during the week, you will receive a reusable library book bag for free.
