Celina Insurance Group and Employees Scholarship

January 19, 2017, Celina, OH — Celina Insurance Group and its employees, in conjunction with the Mercer County Civic Foundation, are offering three $1,000 scholarships to be awarded in the spring of 2017. High school graduates pursuing a degree in an insurance related major such as Actuarial Science, Business, Communications, Computer Science, Finance, Pre-Law, Risk Management & Insurance, etc. are eligible.

Eligible applicants must reside in Mercer or Auglaize County and graduate from a high school in either county, or be a child/grandchild of a current Celina Insurance Group employee (no county requirement). Each 2017 scholarship recipient will be eligible for the Don Montgomery Memorial Renewal Scholarship in the amount of $250 in the spring of 2018 if the guidelines set forth have been met by the recipient.

If a scholarship winner registers for at least six or more credit hours during each semester at Wright State University – Lake Campus, the Western Ohio Educational Foundation (WOEF) will award the recipient a matching scholarship of an additional $1,000. WOEF will also match the Don Montgomery Memorial Renewal Scholarship in the amount of $250 in 2018 if the recipient qualifies.

The top applicants will be determined based on their application and a written essay on the topic indicated on the application form. The selected winners will be notified in late spring.
